2 pounds sugar
1/4 pound margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12 ounces peanut butter
1 pound flaked coconut
4 cups chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
How to Make It
Combine sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Divide the mix in half and place each of them in a separate bowl.
Stir peanut butter in one bowl and coconut in the other. Mold the dough into egg-shapes by hand, arrange them on cookie sheets.
Freeze the eggs in the freezer. Melt the chocolate and shortening on the top of a boiler.
Dip the frozen eggs into the chocolate for coating. Place the coated eggs on cookie sheets and put them into the freezer to harden.After the chocolate is hardened, you can store the eggs in the fridge.
