4 pounds chicken wings, just the middle section
2 Slices ginger
2 Teaspoons cooking oil
½ Cup dark soy sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can of Coca-Cola
1 tablespoon green onion, finely chopped
How to Make It
Marinade the chicken wings with soy sauce and ginger slices in a bowl for about 10 minutes. Transfer out and drain.
Heat up cooking oil in a small-medium pot. When the oil is hot, brown the wings on both sides.
Pour Coca cola in the pot. Slow the fire down to help the wings absorb the taste of cola. After 10 minutes, use high fire to thicken the sauce. Stir occasionally.
Move out from the pot and sprinkle some chopped green onions.
